What is a Sewer Pegout / Service Protection Report?
A Service Protection Report - also known as a Sewer Pegout or Sewer Survey, enables the accurate plotting of Sydney Water assets onto your building plans which will then determine if your development area is within the Zone of Influence (ZOI) and if there would be any potential for damage or stress to these pipes during construction.

"All Line Plumbing did a sewer peg out ahead of us getting a pool. They were super professional, friendly and responsive.
When I asked a question about an unrelated plumbing matter they even went the extra mile and got under my house to point me in the right direction re what needed doing.
Highly recommend them!".

When is a Sewer Pegout required?
Usually as part of any new development, a prerequisite of the Section 73 Compliance Certificate process will require your plans to be assessed and approved by Sydney Water.
You may also require a Sewer Pegout if you are obtaining a Building Plan Approval from Sydney Water.
A Sewer Pegout is usually needed if you are:
Building a Swimming Pool
Building a Deck, Gazebo or Carport
Building a Granny Flat
Excavating your Property
Installing a Driveway or Large Paved Area
Building Over or Near a Water or Sewer Main
The Sewer Pegout Report
The Sewer Pegout Report will generally outline the location and environment of the existing Sydney Water asset. These details include, but are not limited to, information such as:
- the pipe type
- the pipe depth
- service of the asset (sewer, potable water, recycled water, stormwater, easements)
- the pipe size
- structure
- and strata which the asset is laid (such as clay, sand, shale, soil or rock).
Only an accredited Sydney Water listed provider like us, can prepare your Sewer Pegout Reports.
